Hi there, I'm Brynna.

I was born and raised in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. I am drawn to the mountains, to the woods. There is just something about them. In the morning, the mist over the mountains calls my name and I feel so at home in the overwhleming vastness that boasts of some of the earths greatest beauties and wonders. It is in the mountains that  have so deeply inspired my work as a photographer. I long to be outside, to capture the way the light and textures so intricately dance together. What greater thing is there than to add the worlds most beautiful thing into this mixture: human beings and the details of their love for one another. This is a powerful, powerful thing my friends. As creatures so beautifully made in the image of God, our Creator, our heart beat is to fiercly love and commune with others. I believe that this calling of an artist is a high calling in my life as God himself is the ultimate creative being. The love of Jesus has spiraled me into this amazing job of being a photographer. My photography has been molded by these mountain memories, the grace of my Lord, the beautiful wrinkles that form on your faces as your experiences and memories mark your hearts each and every day, the laugh lines you find from years and years of joyful moments, the tears and kisses that fall from a soul bursting with happiness and love. This is what photography is for, to hold these memories close and to cherish the fleeting moments each and every day.

On a more personal note, I now reside in the greater Boston area with my handsome and hilarious husband and plant babies. We live on a Seminary campus as Nathaniel (the hubs) finishes his Masters degree in ministerial work. We both have a huge heart for the church and what Jesus is doing through His people. His mission is huge and loving those into His church is our passion. In addition to school and photography, we are huge coffee snobs/foodies, we love to travel but yet thrive in our little daily routine. I am an avid animal lover and want to have them all. I'll eat anything, all the time. We both love the outdoors and enjoy hiking and just hanging out in the woods whenever we can. We're readers, writers, laughers, movie-goers and The Office watchers. We'd love to be your friend.

“To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything and your heart will be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact you must give it to no one, not even an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements.
